Who We Are
Carmen and Lauren met nearly a decade ago and immediately bonded over a curiosity and mutual love of tasty, healthy things. That curiosity eventually led us to ask, Why can’t something good for us taste great?
Our mission was clear. We’ve spent the last two years working with a team of food and nutritional scientists crafting a drink that’s as good for your digestion as it is delicious. Geez Louise - it turns out you can have it all!
Geez Louise is a women-owned business.
What We Are About
Geez Louise advocates for clean drinking water.
The human right to safe drinking water is part of international law. Canada has a fifth of the world’s freshwater, yet many Indigenous people still lack access to clean drinking water.
We give 3 cents to Indigenous-led organizations supporting clean water initiatives for every can purchased.
Where We Reside
Geez Louise is located on the indigenous land of the Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee), Anishinabewaki, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and the Wendake-Nionwentsïo.
While this is a land acknowledgment, it’s also important to note that acknowledgment without action is empty. Geez Louise stands behind the belief that Indigenous peoples should be the stewards of this land in whatever capacity they choose to be. We wholeheartedly believe in the Land Back movement and offer regular donations to Indigenous-led organizations that work towards these goals in whatever capacity or way they see fit.
